Caseology parallax pixel 6 pro11/29/2023 Detailing around the camera provides an additional layer of protection as well as visual flair. Featuring a durable and flexible patterned body made from military grade materials, Parallax offers bold style and tough protection for your Pixel 6 Pro. But these are the most expensive by a good bit and I'm not sure they are a great option if you're worried about dropping your phone.Parallax is a fan-favorite for a reason this iconic and innovative case style mixes sleek colors, ergonomic tactility, and geometric patterns, resulting in a case that is designed to delight the senses. I may keep one to use for more dressy occasions when my phone needs to be slim to fit in suit pants etc. The texture is a bit on the smooth side but not nearly as slippery as the phone or the Spigen Ultra Hybrid but not exactly grippy. Spigen Liquid Armor - essentially the same deal as the Caseology vault just a different design.īellroy leather cases - look nice and fit very well, probably the snuggest fit of any of the cases I tried but they don't seem like they will offer much in the way of protection. It will probably be ok and offer some protection This is very similar to the Gear4 but not nearly as well built.Ĭaseology Vault was a bit thin and flexible. Spigen Ultra hybrid was thin and slippery and didn't cover the edges of the screen well. The corners look like they will take some drops and the back has a good texture to help hold the phone. It doesn't offer a tremendous amount of protection on the screen, the sides are lower but the top and bottom are thick enough to offer some protection. Gear4 by Zagg offers some protection and I will probably keep it because my jeans died it light blue after a day or two. I also like the little red bumpers inside the corners, gives the phone some much-needed character. It shows off the Sorta Sunny well but I had to exchange that for a Stormy and am not as thrilled with the look now. The texture isn't overly grippy but also not smooth enough to slip in your hand. Ghostek - This is my favorite, good texture and size, the phone feels well protected and secure. I only bought these because they arrived within a day of my phone and I wanted to use the phone but not without a case. The Google cases were very loose-fitting, the phone felt insecure like it could fall out but probably wouldn't, just a little wiggle. TLDR: I like the clear Ghostek Covert clear case the most, it feels good, offers good protection, and has good styling and has already taken a drop from the counter onto a tile floor. All the cases allowed pretty good manipulation of the buttons. My preference is a two-layer design with a harder outer shell and a more impact-absorbing inner layer fused to the plastic. I typically like a case that offers good drop protection and has some grip. Previously used Speck cases on my Pixel 2Xl and 4XL but Speck isn't doing a 6 Pro that I'm aware of. I bought seven different cases to try since I wasn't thrilled with how any looked online.
